Refit and completion

This week sees the build up of the car completed.

This week sees the build up of the car start.

Respray

This week sees the shell and panels visit the booth for the top coat. The next stage will be to flat and polish the car and start the build up.

Primer

This week sees the filler work completed. The car is then sanded and given a coat of primer. The panels are then also primed. Next we will sand and prep the primer ready for the top coat.

Filler work

This week sees the filler work completed we then give the car a coat of spray filler to remove any final imperfections. this will then be hand sanded ready for the coat of primer.

This week sees attention move to carrying out filler work around the car.

Welding

This week sees us carry out the final bits of welding including areas around the door steps and bonnet. New sections are fabricated and let in. We also continue with the bare metalling paying attention to the underside of the bootlid and bonnet.

This week sees us carry out reconstruction work around both A pillars.

Bare metal and welding

This week sees us carry out work to the front end of the car. The front inner arches are replaced, areas around are also repaired. The outer wings are then trial fitted to line up the new front valance panel before being welded on.

Bare metal and welding

This week sees us continue to bare metal areas of the car. We remove the doors and the bonnet. Both front wings are removed and the inner wings cleaned up and zinc primed and painted for protection. The near side sill is taken to bare metal and we fabricate and weld in sections to the inner sill and near side rear lower quarter panel and arch lip.
