Here at AM Restorations, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service and providing high-quality work at affordable prices. Based in Plymouth, Devon, we offer restorations on any classic car marque. We are Triumph restoration specialists and provide customers with all aspects of classic car repair and maintenance. Any car from modern to cherished classics are catered for.
Once your pride and joy has been restored to its former glory, it must be serviced and maintained regularly. We are happy to offer this service to new and existing customers – regardless of whether the car has been restored by us or not – with both classic and modern classic cars.
Our expert, in-house bodyshop can fabricate repair sections to original panels on your classic car, in order to preserve the originality of the vehicle. A full consultation will assess the nature of the restoration level required.
The paint job is the most visible aspect of any car, so it has to be right. Our paint sprayer pays meticulous attention to detail from preparation to final coat ensuring that a professional finish is achieved every time to deliver the finishing touch to your classic car restoration project.
We offer a full Classic Car Restoration Service, including bodywork, engine repair, interior renovation and hood repair. We can fully service and MOT most makes of car, whatever it’s age! Our Body and Spray Shop can tackle even the most demanding repairs. Get in touch to discuss your needs.
About the Owner.
Hi, my name is Andy Moss and I’m the owner of AM Restorations.
Right from an early age, I’ve always loved cars. After cleaning and working on my Dad’s car, I started as an apprentice mechanic at a Volvo dealership where I stayed for 7 years.
After a few years in other garages, I got a job as a motor mechanic in a body shop, where I gained a great deal of restoration experience. By this time, I was into my third classic Triumph, so at the age of 30, I put my new gained skills to good work on my much-loved Stag.
I have been involved in restoring classic cars since 1991 and have rebuilt 10 classics over the years for myself. After winning many prizes with my cars, I decided with some support and encouragement from fellow Stag Club members, to start my own classic car restoration business. I saw an opportunity to provide people with value for money and to restore cars to the highest possible standard. Not only do I feel it is important to provide a top-class service with thorough attention to detail, but most of all to do the job I love.

Dan Brown
Paint Sprayer/Bodywork Technician
Dan has over 12 years of experience in the bodyshop trade covering all aspects from smart repairs and insurance approved work to full one-off custom paint jobs, already getting a few magazine features and hopefully more to come.
Dan was introduced to cars and bikes at a young age with the passion running deep within the family, although straying slightly from the family’s mechanical background he still works with the same passion and attention to detail.
Dan is currently heavily involved in the car scene at home and abroad, with a special love for VW’s. Dan continues to learn the most up-to-date techniques and products to provide your vehicle with a finish to the highest standards.

Upon leaving school, I trained in Boots Pharmacy as a dispenser. I then went on to sell Avon, whilst raising our three children and progressed into running a team of Avon Representatives.
I have always supported Andy with the vast amount of cars he has restored over the years and regularly attend many classic car shows up and down the country.
I now work part-time in the office as the Company Secretary, dealing with the finances.
